A SYMPATHETIC APPROACH WHERE NEW MEETS OLD
In May 2011 Birmingham Cash Registers was appointed to install a Touch Screen EPOS system, at De Grey’s award-winning tea room and famous craft bakery, in Ludlow.
The 450 year old Town House where De Grey’s is located, is one of Ludlow’s most photographed sites and it sits on a street famously described as ‘one of the most memorable in England’.
It was therefore vitally important that the work we carried out at De Grey’s did nothing to detract from its historical appeal. We installed all the network cabling within the timber framed interior, taking care to ensure none of the wiring was visible to the public.
The three kitchens at De Grey’s now benefit from automatic order printing with terminals on each floor of the Tea Rooms and Bakery.
Commenting on our sympathetic approach to bringing modern technology to this Elizabethan building, manager Andy Paul says:
“The new system is definitely helpful and saves us time with processing guest payments and transactions. The system integrates perfectly across the various departments of the business. We also appreciate Birmingham Cash Register’s ongoing support – they are always helpful and friendly.”
